FrameWorks started in the North Cambridge neighborhood almost 50 years ago. I started Boston Frame Works in the mid 90’s in a barn in Newton, MA.

The barn came with the house I rented with a couple buddies. My most vivid memory of that barn shop is the day I was run out by a family of racoons. They didn’t care that I had frames to make. Once they were gone, I went back to work... That’s always been my answer to obstacles, go back to work!.

Since taking over FrameWorks in early 2002 we have been working really hard to create some of the finest hardwood frames on the planet.
